Tortellini
Bring one to two cans of chicken broth to a rapid boil.
Take the bag of tortellini from the freezer and place in the boiling chicken broth. This will reduce the boiling and might stop it. Let the broth come to a boil again. Adjust the cooking temperature so that the tortellini continues boiling, but doesn't boil over.
Cooking time, from the start of placing the tortellini in the broth and till cooked, is from 8 to 12 minutes. But the true test is to sample one and taste that the dough is cooked as you would any other pasta.
When cooked to your taste, remove from burner and Enjoy!
Ravioli
Place water in a large pot and place on the burner. The amount of water will be the same as if you were going to cook 1 1/2 pounds of spaghetti.
Bring to rapid boil. Place Ravioli in water directly from the freezer. This will possibly stop the water from boiling.
Continue cooking, allowing water to boil again. Control the temperature so the ravioli continue boiling, but don't boil over.
Sample the ravioli until the dough is cooked to your taste, as you would spaghetti. Drain in strainer and top with your favorite tomato sauce (What us Italians call Gravy), or butter and garlic, or what ever you like!
